the way to a boy's heart

Last night the kindergarten homework assignment was: Write four complete sentences telling why you love your mom.
DQ rocked it out in just a few minutes and had a page full of reasons she loved me.  

Caleb was having a hard time getting his thoughts to paper and after 20 distracted minutes only had one ~ "I love my mommy because she cooks us really good food."

Proving both that the old saying about the way to a man's heart is true AND that it starts at an early age...
