great expectation

Praying with expectation.

Not praying to ask if He can do something, but praying with faith that He can and will do something.  Trusting His heart to be full of enough love to give not what we want, but what is good for us, what we need.

Humbling how I was reminded to trust in His goodness by the simple prayer of my sweet girl who Sunday night, in preparation for her next laser treatment, spoke these words of prayer with expectation to her Heavenly Father.

"Thank you Jesus that I will be brave tomorrow when I go to the polka dot doctor."

Not a "Please don't let me be scared," unsure question, but claiming and trusting that He would calm her heart.

Sometimes I declare I hear the Godly wisdom of my sweet, precious Grandma Jane coming out of this child's mouth.

May you as well be reminded today that He loves us and desires what is good for us...

From the moment I read about her meeting her Mommy and Daddy I knew this was one special little lady. I've had that confirmed over and over again as I have gotten to know her better and enjoy watching her grow! Love, love, love this girlie!

What a brave girl she is. Praying that her treatment is going well and she is nearing the end of her sessions. Such a blessing that you can provide her with medical care she would not have had in China. I trust that Darcy will be a big support to little Nathalie.
