Sunday Snapshot {So long summer}

Last Saturday ended up being one of those days that makes one understand where the term "Carolina blue skies" came from.

Ian had the chance to go to the Carolina football game with a good friend of ours.  Knowing that he loves college football and that it was going to be a beautiful day for a game, I encouraged him to go and cheer for the home team.

(Don't worry fellow Hokies, it was against Rutgers ~ can't blame him for cheering for a fellow ACC team.  Now when VT actually plays Carolina?  That's another story).

I considered several entertainment options for the day, but ended up going with one last hurrah at the pool.

With our abrupt weather change ~ this Saturday we've broken out jackets, leggings and closed toe shoes ~ I think it was the best choice.

The water was a little chilly, but it didn't stop us from having a great time.
