My super-hero crush

I have a secret y'all.

I am helplessly in love with a super-hero!

But don't worry Mom M. (or my mama either, whom sometimes I suspect loves Ian even more than she loves me...), my heart isn't straying.  My super hero is none other than my hubby.

He provides, protects, and brings laughter into my life.  His heart's desire is to be a little more like our Heavenly Father each day.  When I first met Ian, I suspected that he'd make a great father.

And that suspicion has been confirmed.  Not once...

...not twice...

...but three times over already.

With the addition of each child, I've watched him patiently seek them out, relentlessly trying to discover what makes them tick.  He lavishly showers love upon them while guiding them in the discipleship of Christ.  It is a beautiful thing!

And just in case you doubt his super-hero status, here's proof positive.  Who else could take this motley looking bunch...

and turn them into this sweetly smiling gang

just by walking around the corner?

Yeah, we love the daddy in our house a lot!
