We're home

All is well.  More soon...

Just thought I'd share a few pictures to show that
she holds no grudge...
she has potential to make "no no" arm immobilizers fashionable...
and she wanted to properly show her anklet.

I'd give more details, but Snoozy woke up hungry and a package of Ramen is in order.  I'll be back tonight when she's asleep.

Glad you're home and things went well. Also glad that she seems to like her arm immobilizers. I'm not so sure I'd feel the same way.

The "no no" arm immobilizers alone would make me crazy! Yet ,look at Darcy's little smile. She's a champ!
Best wishes and prayers to all,

This NSN momma wants to know about the arm immobilizers. Are they to keep her from touching her eye?

Jenny said...

What a girl! I've checked, like 80 kazillion times today, so I'm thankful to hear all went well. And I was thinking the same thing...man, she can sport an eye patch! What a sweet little face! I can hardly wait to have her climb on my lap!

I stand continually amazed at how resilient these children are...

Darcy is an amazing child! She looks great, seems so brave and I am so glad she is on the mend from surgery. How scary it must have been for mom and dad. Lots of prayers being sent your way for a quick recovery and a successful outcome.

Tell me again what you requested in your dossier - it must have been something like "as cute as possible", and boy did you get it!!! Darcy could not possibly be any more beautiful! She's gorgeous even with a patch on one eye.

Darcy, you are such a little "trooper". Never a wine or complaint about the eye patch or the "no, no arm restrainers. God surely was with you. I am trusting that this surgery did what it needed to do and that the pressure of your eye will return to normal. I love you,
