Can we do it again soon?

Saturday night Alexander decided he wanted to spend the night with Adam and Traci. I think it is a good thing because we can't even get to church with one child to get ready on time! We got up 15 minutes earlier this week (which was 10 minutes earlier than the week before that) than we did last week and still were 10 minutes late. I don't understand the black hole of time that happens from the time we think we are ready until when we actually start backing out of the driveway...

Anyway, following church we celebrated Andrew's (the youngest of the triple A's) 4th birthday. Before the birthday boy arrived we decided to try a quick photo shoot of Kylie with her uncle. (The two have only been together twice now and at the rate Kylie is growing this outfit may not last her the winter!) Trying to get the two to look at the camera AND smile at the same time was a bit too much for me to control, but I did catch a few funny moments between them...

"Let's just look at these pictures of my mommy in a pretty white dress some more."
~Lately Kylie loves to look at Mom's copy of our wedding album!

"Can't you see I was trying to pet Chaucer? Let me go!"

"Let me just tell you from experience that if we cooperate this will be over much more quickly! Oh, and remember that I'm the star here, so don't mess up my picture!" ~Seriously, check out the look in her eye!

Sadly this is the best I got, but at least they are both looking at the camera...

Then Andrew and his family arrived and the party started. We ate a delicious meal, had cake and ice cream, opened presents and then all the kids headed outside for football, jump rope, and riding the tricycle.

Happy Birthday little one!

Before we knew it, it was time to leave to take Alexander back to his mom, but hopefully we can do it again soon!

What a fun day. Was so nice to have 14 at the house for lunch, birthday celebration, fellowship.
Kylie wasn't quite sure what to think of Alexander being there and receiving so much love and affection from everyone - that has been her domain! haha
