Breakfast of champions!

My how she's changed in the past 9 months! Yesterday was the nine month anniversary of Kylie's adoption day! I was sending some photos to one of our travel group dads who is making a new video of the Lianjiang girls. (The three month video is Kylie's favorite thing to watch! She will walk over to my computer, point to it and sign and say, "More!" until I play it. I've seen each picture of Kylie's "Lianjiang sisters" so many times that I know what picture is coming next. It is amazing to see how much the girls grew in the first three months, I can't wait until the next installment comes!)

Anyway, looking back at older pictures of Kylie made me think back to what she was like then, and what she is like now. She's changed in so many ways! Two that stand out from day one and day two with Kylie are...

Then ~ bath time was like torture time (I still have to laugh at myself for thinking that a warm bath the first night we had her would be soothing ~ wow, the video of her first bath is dreadful to watch!)...
Monday night (nine months since her first bath with us) ~ she started running for the stairs pulling at her clothes while frantically doing the funky chicken (her sign for bath) when she heard us talking about bed time...

"Did I hear you say bed?" ~ This was immediately followed by running for the stairs to get her bath...

Then ~ nothing but the bottle filled with HOT, sludgy formula/rice cereal mix would pass her lips...
Yesterday (nine months since her first breakfast with us) ~ my baby showed her change of temperature and taste by consuming a slice of cold veggie lovers pizza with me for breakfast...

"I didn't know you could eat this stuff cold! It's AWESOME!"

Each day brings something new ~ it's exhausting, but I LOVE it!!!
