A smile (at least one!) a day...

Did we smile, laugh, and find ourselves in amazement as much before Kylie? Sometimes I have to wonder if it is humanly possible that we did...

Things keep changing around here! Not only did she discover Tootsie Rolls on Saturday, but she also managed to get into the tub by herself ~ no step required! Sunday she pretty clearly said bracelet for the first time when she wanted her grandma to hand hers over. Sure it sounded a bit like "braces," but her intention was clear. She's also voluntarily putting please (still signed) at the end of requests for more and help. Her jumping is amazing these days as she now clears about three inches when she jumps! And Sunday at Mama's she figured out how to let herself out of the house by pulling the latch style door handle. (Thank goodness our house has round knobs and she hasn't figured out how to turn them ~ YET!)

Granted my girl makes me smile hundreds of times a day, but here are my favorite moments of each day since Sunday...

"Hey Daddy, you can see the ceiling of Grandma's house from under this table!"

"Belly belly button, you're oh so fine!" ~ taken from one of Kylie's favorite books, The Belly Button Book by Sandra Boynton

"Ride 'em Chaucer!" ~ poor dog, she seems to think he's a horse! (And he's only six months old, he may grow to the size of one...)

No words necessary...

"I'm engineering a tower with a human base!"

Girl and her best friend

Yeah, we're smiling a lot around here these days!
