And they lived happily ever after...

On July 17, 1999 I said, "I do!" to my best friend. Eight years later I am in awe that time has moved so fast! Together we've traveled many places in the states, spent a Semana Santa week in southern Spain, lived for six months in France (skiing and traveling our hearts out), gone on a mission trip to Guatemala, weathered the death of many loved ones, waited a LONG time to become parents, gone to China and back to bring home our baby girl, and learned so much about each other in the process. Ian is the one who completes me ~ thank you Mama for praying for me to find the right man from the day I was born. In turn we make that same prayer now for Kylie...

Who are those kids?

I'm happy to report that we're still crazy in love!

We had a low key evening, grabbing sushi for dinner (Ian promised me eight years ago that I'd never have to cook or do dishes on our anniversary) and then further celebrating by getting passport photos of Kylie made so we can apply for her US passport tomorrow.

I 'll close for now with two random photos that were too cute to pass up from last week.

Kylie showing her sweet side by giving cousin (or second cousin or first cousin once removed or whatever...) Chloe a birthday hug.

"How long do you think Daddy can hold me like this? When did you say I was old enough to try out for cheer leading?" Yeah, about the cheer leading, I was on the field... We need to get this girl around some soccer and basketballs!

HAPPY 8th You both look as you did back in the old days. 8 years from now you may have a couple of grey hairs.

Yes, I am STILL catching up on old posts! I still have August 07-June 08 to read! But I have to know, does Ian still hold her in his palms like this? Amazing!
