I've always loved Easter! It is a reminder that Jesus defeated sin and death so that I (and all who believe) can live an eternal life in Heaven when this temporary life on Earth is done. How fitting that Easter occurs in the spring when all seems to awaken from the winter slumber.
This year Easter was extra special because Ian and I were able to celebrate it as parents! My heart was overflowing with joy as I watched my daughter bounce in her grandma's arms while I sang with the praise team. She seemed especially bubbly as we sang My Redeemer Lives, almost as if she already understood what the words mean. How we pray that we will bring her up in a way that brings her to a close and personal relationship with Jesus!
Though the wishes are a day late, we hope that you and your families had a wonderful Easter! Remember that the joy of Easter lasts long after the chocolate bunny is gone!!!
Here are a few pictures to summarize the day...
A Easter knit hat instead of a bonnet
Kylie's paparazzi at the Concord Memorial Gardens (we go there every Easter to admire the blooms ~ someone actually asked if she was the first grandchild on both sides...)
Tiptoe through the tulips...
So we forgot to take a picture of all of us in our Easter church clothes... I didn't get to wear my Easter dress anyway ~ it was too cold!

Adorable!!!!!
Love the photos. You are such a beautiful family.
She is beautiful. The photo with her walking in the tulips is priceless.
She is such a cutie! I love her "Yes, I'm cute" look that seems to always be on her face! :)
PS--we're not going anywhere, just to a bigger house!
What a beautiful Easter dress with the blooming azaelas behind her. Our trip to the gardens in Concord had special meaning this year with Kylie exploring the flower lined walkways. We caught the red tulips exactly right this year!
God is so good. What beauty He made just for our enjoyment.
