intervention #1 done

The case before his ran long and we were still waiting in the waiting room to be checked in around 1.
Ian and I were starting to come out of our skin waiting, but thankfully our little guy was quite distracted with the Secret Life of Pets (currently the happy meal toy as they promote the second movie, so he thought that was great).  Also thankfully it was just before he was given the premed that he said one thing about being hungry...but five minutes later he didn't care anymore.

And also thankful that the family who was anxiously waiting for their child to finish (the one that ran several hours longer than anticipated) was reunited with their son.
Now after a long day I'm happy to say that our buddy is awake, enjoying dinner, Marco Poloing his siblings and watching a movie.

The cath surgery procedure was pretty much textbook and it looks like it put him in the spot they wanted for him to be for Thursday's surgery.

Next to try to get some sleep on the cardiac floor (he's being held tonight for observation)...
