Seven years ago today we touched down in China. We knew we were just a few days away from meeting our Darcy Q. What we didn't realize is that sometime that day while we settled back into a place foreign yet familiar and adjusted to the jet lag, our future son was born.
Happy, happy birthday to our much loved Nicholas. Today is a very difficult day in the wait as we wanted so much to be able to celebrate with him. However we take comfort next year, lucky birthday #8, will be within the tremendous, crushing, crazy love of this family.
