Board games, legos, cautious drive to Chuy's for dinner (it had been in the slow cooker), entertainment right outside our front windows by the line crew replacing the broken phone pole, dance party in the living room and all snuggled in for the night. Pajama party in our living room in front of the gas logs right now.
The kids and my niece/nephew think it is the most amazing day ever. I just wish I had a way to make coffee or hot cocoa for the linemen working in front of our house. It is COLD and DARK out there. Those guys are AWESOME!
Who says blackouts aren't fun?
