Laundry observations

Recently I noticed that one of my children had very few underwear in their drawer and just one pair in the clean laundry I was putting away. Curious as to the whereabouts of the missing unmentionables, I questioned said child. 

Child ~ "I'm wearing five pairs of underwear."
Me ~ (blink, blink) "Um. Okay. Isn't that uncomfortable? And. Why?"
Child ~ "Well, it makes it faster when it is time to change underwear. I just take one pair off."

I do not think this works quite the way said child thinks that it does... 

I mean, in the winter time, the kids don't necessarily bathe daily...but they do change underwear. Well, I guess at least four of them do...
