Five years seems like such a long time...until I realize that it's all the longer Darcy Q has officially been part of our family. I guess she was just always there in my heart.
And one absolutely ADORABLE thing about her? Well, on our way home from church she had been noticing a restaurant that bears her name for about a year. So where did my wonton soup loving Chinese girl want to go for her special night?
I heart this kid.
We were fortunate that Grandma M felt good enough to join us for the evening.
Hot dogs were eaten. Hamburgers were consumed. We had a table full of fries and onion rings.
