It started with my big girl and wagon wheel pasta.
And in the ten days since, I've had quite a bit of company in the kitchen.
One evening DQ and I worked to make oven baked chicken nuggets and zucchini pancakes.
The little one gave her Baba an assist one Saturday morning with buttermilk biscuits.
Peanut requested sketti and meatballs...and asked me 100 times a day until the night he helped me if it was his night to cook.
And my big boy requested the only meal he enjoys more than ramen noodles, cherry glazed ribs...known at our house as 'chicken on the pig.'
With five mini-chefs in training, it looks like I'm working myself out of one of my household responsibilities.
One meal at a time.

LOVE every picture!! They watched big sis and it looked FUN!! :)
Awesome! My now 2 year old has been helping in the kitchen for a while - since about 18 months. I have some great pictures of him helping make mashed cauliflower & eating the results before dinner was even on the table. We use a learning tower that my hubby built. Kids in the kitchen is such an awesome way to teach them about nutrition & give them a sense of pride in an accomplishment. Love it.
Enjoy those sweet days! My 18 year old has celiac and we are making our first gluten free Thanksgiving meal. He wants to help cook! We are getting ready to make a gluten free cheesecake.
Your kids are just precious!
We all know that you will never give up your kitchen! lol How fun that they are all helping and enjoying that time with you and Ian
