under eight

Six months ago this trip seemed eons away.

Yet now here I sit with less than eight hours until my first flight takes off.

Suitcase two has been zipped for a few days now.  It is holding 18 more cans of formula, 48 eight ounce bottles of hand sanitizer and just over 400 alcohol wipes.  Plus two adorable outfits from the Carter's clearance rack and the most darling little jeans jacket you ever did see.

not sure my ski bag ever saw these contents coming...

I've stolen back in to give each of the kids one more kiss three times now.  I'd better stop pressing my luck before I wake one of them up.  But I just can't help myself...wow am I going to miss them!

Prayers are coveted for safe travels, no hitches with our 99+ pounds of luggage each in customs, and my kiddos as they navigate a week without mommy (it got a little teary here tonight).  But most of all, prayers that He will be glorified through this trip.  I'm anxiously awaiting seeing His love and mercy revealed...

**Oh, and for good internet connection.  I do hope to post here at least a few times while I'm gone.**

I wanted you to know that before you were gone more than twenty minutes this morning, K was sleeping snuggled next to me. Praise God that was enough for her after you left.

Know that God is with you and all of us and that He will receive all of the praise and honor for what is accomplished including K feeling more secure and able to handle her fears.

Proud of you and Ian for allowing God's will to be done. You will both be blessed for it. I love you!
