a baker's dozen

And here we are at lucky 13...

I think back to the expectations I held on July 17, 1999 for our life together.  Some aspects of our reality are pretty far from the dreams I had.  Some have been tough to reconcile, yet many are so, so much better than I could have imagined.

One thing has held true in the nearly 5000 days that have passed; we've been in this together.

Makes me look forward to the next 5000 (and more) to come...
