Apparently it's contagious

Actually made it out in public today (we made three stops) and was home before I realized that he had on two different shoes.

Sigh.  Guess I have said before that some battles aren't worth fighting.

At least one of us thought it was hilarious...

Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who has showed up somewhere with kids either shoeless (it has happened once) or with mismatched shoes without realizing it before you left home.  Please?

It's just one of those things that really isn't worth fighting over anyway. Haven't you seen the knew trend in little girls socks? They actually SELL mismatched pairs. (at least here in NYC) Caleb was obviously feeling left out and wanted to start a little guy trend. Maybe try to keep him from wearing socks with those flippers though :-)

Have a blessed day.

Nope, not alone...and at least once we've arrived at our destination to discover that Mick had absolutely no shoes at all to wear. Nice, eh?

I sometimes WISH I had a story like that. My kids are way too "it has to be RIGHT" in their personalities to wear mismatched shoes. Caleb's smile is precious!!

Hilarious and he did agree to wear shoes so that's good.

Lydia usually has her shoes or shirt on backwards. I figure it will keep her from having pronated arches. ;-)

Hasn't happened here yet, but 2 of my 3 are still small enough that they have to have help with their shoes. I'm sure it will at some point. :-)

Made it to school without Maylin's shoes once!
Gone with one brown boot and one black boot.
Pierson likes to wear white ankle socks under his brown sandals
...shall I go on?! :)

We have not done shoeless, but out boys have the same shoes, and we have showed up with one twin wearing both of the left shoes... and his brother wearing both of the right. The bad part was I was the one who put on and tied their shoes ; /

We've done both...more than once. The first time I was mortified...now I just take it in stride!

As long as you have 3 (soon to be 4) kids in tow, you are good. The rest really doesn't matter. Love, you!!!

One more thing....
it's really bad when the MOM wears two different shoes OR when she goes to a Christmas party all dressed up and realizes she forgot to take her house shoes off.
Not that I know anything about that, I'm just sayin' that would be bad.
:)
