The zoo crew

The Saturday that 'cousin Jor-deen' was here Ian was tied up with a CCC board meeting.  So was 'Unca Ahd-dum.'  That left me here with three kids, my sister there with her two kids, and Jordan who'd love to get to see as many folks as possible.

The solution?  Why meet at the zoo of course!  We loaded up bright and early and spend a delightful day together.

We watched animals...

...learned a little about bears...

 ...got reacquainted...

...learned some African dance steps...

is it just me or do Caleb's legs look a MILE long in this picture?

...played African instruments along with the music...

...relived memories (for Kylie and Caleb anyway) of the geysers out West...

...caught a ride in a stroller ~ or got a work out pushing...

...and all too soon had to hug goodbye.

It was a perfect day ~ beautiful weather, delightful company.  I'm sure we'll do it again soon!

What a fantastic day! I love seeing pix of all the cousins together. How fun will it be for all of them to grow up together. It was weird to see shorts & tshirts though, its chilly up north!

Oh! We were just there for the first time 2 weeks ago! After purchasing tickets for everyone we were just a few bucks shy of a season pass, so we got one. Let me know when you feel like another day trip :)

I can just imagine how close all the kids will be. So very cool! Now if I could only get my sister in law to go abroad and bring home a few littles!

Kristi,

I don't know if I knew last time I was here that you are going to be a New Day Mommy! We are new Day Graduates ourselves ;) Two years later & still praising God for that place!

Congrats on your newest addition!

xo,
Sara

Looks like a fun day! I have to say that I did a double take on that photo of four of them standing together playing instruments. At first glance, it looked like Caroline standing there in the brown tee! :)

Looks like a Great day for everyone! I just love the picture of Caleb on his toes trying to be as tall as his cousin. What a blessing to have such loving family!
