Happy, happy birthday to my youngest three year old!
We prayed that we would be with you before your birthday and praise God that gift was given! Right now I am still getting to know you, learning what makes you smile (and frown for that matter). What I do know is that there was a hole in our family until just over two weeks ago. I'm so glad you are home! Your celebration this year won't be over the top (mostly because you won't understand it all) but there will be cake and a few presents for sure...

Happy Birthday to Darcy! I am so glad she was home for it! I adopted my 2nd one and she turned 4 while we were in China so we were at least able to celebrate together with a cake and some presents. She is now 6 1/2 years old. She is a delight and adjusted very well. I do have to say that I still struggle to understand her completely as she came to me with certain mannerisms that she acquired through her 4 years without me. She is an easy going happy kid but I do get sad every now and again not knowing how she got to be the kid that she is (both the good and the bad). My other daughter was 10 months when I adopted her so she grew with me there to see her personality form. It is just something I will never know about Chloe and have to accept that but some days I just really wish I had a better understanding. Patience and love is all we can ask for. She is so beautiful and I love seeing pictures of all 3 together. You are all going to have so much fun! Have a great day.
