So tonight over dinner we were talking about our family ~ how we came to be, how much we love each other, how we are different than other families, yet the same. In the course of the discussion, Ian made a comment about me being the best mommy in the world. (It really did tie into the conversation quite well...) And after he said it, Kylie said, "WHAT? did you say?"
So Ian asks her, "Isn't Mommy the best Mommy in the world?"
And she replies, "No."
Not sure how to respond to that, I sit in silence as Ian says, "So then who is the best mommy in the world?"
Out of the mouth of my sweet babe comes,
"God is the best mommy. Mommy is the next best."
Okay, I'll take second place to Him...
