How we love the drop box!

We're not quite yet DTC, but Thursday the last of our paperwork left our possession. It (our home study and our immigration approval to bring Darcy home) is currently in Washington DC being taken by a courier between the US State Department and the Chinese Embassy. As long as everything goes smoothly, we expect it to be picked up by the courier on Thursday and overnighted directly to our agency to meet up with the rest of the stack. And if that happens, our paperwork will be on its way to the other side of the world next Friday! (Please agree with us in prayer that it works out that way!)

The siblings got the honor of dropping the envelope in the drop box. The commentary went something like this...

"Okay Kay-lup, you hep me hode it open and I'll drop Mommy's pecial papers for Darcy in here."
"Otay Ty-io!"

"Oh noooo! Dar-hee papers!"
"Don't worry Kay-lup, we put the papers in dis box and then we get to go meet Darcy in China. Dis is so citing!"

And just for the fun of it, previous dossier drops...

This one April 14, 2008 ~ the package that brought us Caleb. For a good laugh, click here to go back and read my thoughts on that day. Obviously I had no idea of God's plan to grow our family so quickly...
This one almost takes my breath away. I can hardly believe how much of a baby she seems to be last April!

The funny thing is that as she dropped it in I'll never forget her saying, "Please bring a siss-er, NO bro-fer!"

And the first week in August of 2005, headed from Mama's to FedEx to drop off our first dossier ~ the one that brought us Kylie!

Oh my word...Kylie looks so tiny in that picture. I just said to Abby this week, "Stop Growing!!!" I know we don't really want them to stop, but goodness, it happens so fast.

Congrats on getting all the paperwork out the door and in the drop box.

YES! Gives labor an all new meaning, eh, girl? Cannot believe how little Kylie looks just over a year ago!!! How did that happen?! I don't even want to think about how much Caroline has changed, as well. Ian, on the other hand, looks about the same! :-) Wish I could say the same for myself!

Yay! I loved those moments! BTW, my email is new since we've moved...actaylor40@gmail.com (and in typical fashion for me, I don't have yours anymore). Drop me a note if you want to try and connect sometime. This weekend we're off to see the Hokies but maybe sometime soon :)

Congratulations!

And I can't believe how much Kylie has changed in a year!!! She looked so little in the pictures from last year! Amazing how fast they grow.
