"Matchies"

One fun thing about bringing another girl into the family is that Kylie now asks if we can look for some "matchin' desses" for she and Darcy. And so I scour the clearance racks figuring that no matter when we finally travel that Guangzhou will provide the heat for the girls to wear summer dresses and shirts.

This week at Target we found some GREAT deals in the sizes we needed (with boy/girl stuff at least coordinating) and while they weren't on the shopping list, I couldn't resist a little splurge.

But wait, why three girl shirts and two boy shirts?

That would be to have some "matchies" for pictures next summer of my three kids and THEIR COUSINS!!! Yep, after a long wait for news from Taiwan, I'm so thrilled to say that my sister and her hubby have A DAUGHTER AND A SON!!! We are now Aunt Kristi and Uncle Ian!!! I've been dying to "shout" my excitement, but Traci and Adam wanted time to let some of the family know. I finally got the green light to share and now I'm going to become a bit obnoxious cause I'm REALLY EXCITED!!!

Ian, Kylie, Caleb and I are over the moon for my sister (Aunt CiCi ~ or Traci as she is known to most adults) and brother-in-law (Unca Adham)!!! Kylie loves to watch the short video clip of them and Caleb shouts, "Cozins!" each time he sees their picture (which have bumped some other pictures off our fridge). I can't wait to finally be called Aunt Kristi ~ or as Kylie says, they'll call me Aunt Mommy.

In the next four to six months Adam and Traci should be on their way to Taiwan to bring their sweet kiddos home! Please keep their new family in your prayers!

More details to come, but for now they have to wait until power of attorney is granted. After that we can post their pictures and give identifying information. In the meantime, trust me, they have got to be the two cutest kids in Taiwan! For now you'll just have to imagine how cute our five kids will look standing together in their "matchies" next spring...

**Oh, and Traci, the shirts should be in the mail tomorrow or Saturday. Getting to the post office to mail packages with two active kiddos isn't the simplest of tasks. Trust me, you'll know soon...**
