When he finally realized that there was more to the beach than sand, he stood mesmerized for a few minutes and then made a break for it!
We so should have had the video rolling so you could see just how fast he was moving!
Kicking a little foam.
Big sister showed him the joys of splashing in shallow water by jumping "like a jumpin' bean."
And he totally followed her lead. (Look closely, he's in mid-jump)
After expending lots of jumping energy, they stopped to admire waves and play with sand.
Before long Caleb (Mr. Energy) was back on the move, but Ky was content to feel the sand flow between her fingers and gaze at the waves. (This may go on to be one of my favorite vacation shots ever...)

Okay, I think I need to know where you got Kylie's swimsuit too- just darling! I love the last picture- in such deep thought.
