I'm a bit concerned about the year 2022...

...when my kids turn 16 and get their license. If these pictures are an indicator of what their driving will look like, we're in serious trouble!

Now I'm quite certain he's never seen even part of an episode of The Dukes of Hazard!
For that matter, neither has she ~ and even if he had, pretty sure I never saw Bo or Luke Duke exit through the front windshield!
Then knocking the cars over became funny.
Even funnier if you were in the car when it toppled!
And finally the real trouble began ~ I wonder if she's aspires to be a Ya-Ya sister.
Dancing to the music she heard in her head at the moment.
And of course, monkey see...

I'm quite certain that by typing the next few words will jinx me for a few days again, but overall Kylie and Caleb are loving one another's company right now. (Tuesday afternoon was a rough one in which they seemed to take glee in aggravating one another, but at this point that kind of behavior seems to be the exception). These pictures were taken shortly before Ian got home the other night and after dinner we took a family walk (I did put pants on Caleb before we went...). We started the walk holding hands as a family with Ian, Kylie, me, and then Caleb in line. Before long though the two of them decided not to hold our hands but to hold one another's hands instead and walked for the entire block just in front of us hand in hand. Melted my heart I tell ya!

LOL!!! Having a 16 year old who is driving it is beyond comprehsion how we got here so fast.....I have a nice cracx in the front of my expedition to prove that they aren't much better drivers at 16 than at 3....

Looks like they are having too much fun! I love your pictures of them together, being silly and having fun! Enjoy these days! Before you know it, they won't only be driving, but going on mission trips to Africa and getting married! ....sigh...

Aaaahhhh what joy!!! At least they haven't seen Teen Wolf and didn't surf on their cars!

Yeah, I'm feelin' your pain, sister. So far, we've had no unconventional exits from the van...no fender benders...a few heart attacks. She's actually a very good driver, so far...a little speedy at times, but there's just something frightening about your CHILD being in control of a 2000 pound vehicle.

Bo and Luke never went through the windshield because they weren't that smart :-)

What little dare devils! The expression in Caleb's eyes in the first shot really says so much about his personality. Then the picture of him shooting out of the windshield! Kylie sitiing on top of the car in her little dress and bare feet - is rather YaYa.
What fun!
