Changes in perspective

Five years ago, at the height of wanting to be a Mama, if you had told me that 21 months later my "delivery moment" would look like this
in a hot room in southern China, I perhaps would have raised an eyebrow at you in doubt.

Five years ago if you had told me that I'd be planning my 2008 summer vacation around ten other families (despite all my claims that we had enough friends BEFORE we went to China) so that we could reunite our daughters whom were "China sisters," I would have snickered.

Five years ago if you had told me that a mere 21 months after Kylie's delivery that I would be back in China, for my second delivery, this time a BOY,
I would have probably laughed out loud.

Five years ago if you told me that I'd now be living across the state and that playgroup for my kids would look something like this

I'm quite sure I would have blown you off.

And that same five years ago, if you had told me that right now I'd be watching e-Bay and Craig's List for an affordable one of these,

I KNOW I would have said you were CRAZY!!!

Guess this new venture qualifies us as certifiable, but thankfully one of my dear friends took it in stride and said, "I'll just call you crazy for Christ!"

To be continued...

I am so excited and can't wait until you tell us more. So happy for your family. It still amazes me that five years ago we thought our family was complete and the God whispered and we followed.

How exciting!!! So happy (I really mean jealous) for you, can not wait to hear all about it.

You might also want to consider the Sit and Stand it works great for my three, one is straped in the front, one can sit on the board seat (straped in) and the third and hop on and off as she wants, standing on the foot board (or can share the board seat with other child, if first child is faced forward with feet in the storage area). All for around $100 from Target.
