We've come a long way...

...in a pretty short amount of time!

October 27, 2008 ~ Civil Affairs office in Wuhan, Hubei Province, PRC
Just after the SWI staff walked out and left him with his new family ~ it wasn't exactly "pretty," but then we knew enough not to expect it to be.
April 26, 2009 ~ in the big tree at the Duck Pond on VT's campus, Blacksburg, VA
Pretty darn close to the six month mark when you allow for time zone changes. Amazing how God has healed his little heart!
Happy six months my little prince!

Hi there! I'm Melissa's little sister and a Hokie! I love the newest addition to the Hokie family under the trees at the duck pond! Congratulations! I can't wait to show my nephew Blacksburg and VT when I graduate from medical school!

Happy 6 months! I can't believe it's been 6 months already. But then again, it seems like forever, too.

I know exactly what you mean - it seems like so much longer than six months. It was a privilege to be with you guys in China and to see this transformation begin to take shape and to see Caleb now - perfect.

The pictures are priceless. In the years to come, you will be so happy that you have recorded all those saying from Kylie. You 4 are so fortunate to have each other.

WOW!!! How heart warming to see the photos of Caleb and to know all that you have endured during this transition period. You are a wonderful Mother Kristi and it shows in many ways. Happy Mothers Day to you!
