On a hot day at the park it beckons...
and toddler age children answer the call.
They gather in numbers to refresh themselves in the cool drinking fountain waters. All the playground equipment, sand box and sand toys? Forget about them, water wins. Every time!
And I just had to include this shot of my little beauty ~ I don't recall what was getting her focus at the moment, but seeing her intent gaze makes me want to know now!
And just so I'll remember it later, Kylie pulled this skirt out of her drawer that morning and came to ask me where her brown shirt with the pink "sleeves but not sleeves" was. It took me a while to figure out she was talking about this tank top, but when I finally realized what she was talking about and showed it to her she said, "Yes, that's the one Mommy. It matches wif dis pink skirt!" And doggone if she wasn't right...

Love it! Kylie is such a smart girl!
The mysterious lure of water ... as if any toddler can navigate a parking lot after the rain without stomping in at least one, can't do it, the pull is just too much! :) Love the pics - too cute.
Yes, it is a siren call...and if mud is involved in the water, then all the better. Abby was a magnet to muddy puddles when she was little...drove me nuts.
I'm thinking your kids need some Super Soakers one of these days...
Oh can't you just feel the cool water on your toes! What is it about water... acutally I could go into a psycho-babble therapist spill, but I'll just leave it as... Water is so soothing (for most people)!
I love the picture of Kylie concentrating... If that doesn't capture her intent, curious nature, I don't know what does!!!
And do we have the next Vera Wang on our hands?!!!! What a cute outfit. That shirt "with sleeves with no sleeves" is perfect for that skirt!!! So adorable!
I miss you guys!!!
Love ya
Aunt Cici
Ok, I learned something new. I'd never heard of a "siren call"...had to look it up. :)
