So our original plan for CCC's Charity Ball was for mom to take the kids home after the reception at the beginning. That way many of our CCC friends could meet Caleb, get to see Kylie ~ she's been a hit at staff training when I cook ~ AND we'd get to have a long overdue date night over dinner and dancing. But you know what they say about the best laid plans.
Enter Ian's food poisoning...
I wasn't gonna stay at the ball alone, we had paid for Ian's dinner, and Kylie LOVES to dance in her "red dess wif the dold fwetter," so...
I took so many pictures of my beautiful children, but I'm limiting myself to a few of my favorites.
Caleb was enthralled with the flowers at each place setting. (I realize that I'm biased, but is he not the most precious little boy? I still can hardly believe that he's mine sometimes!)
Kylie was sad that she didn't get to dance with her daddy, but Mr. Andy (a dear friend from church) and Unca Adham stepped up to the plate.
Even though her beautiful face is mostly covered, I like this shot of Kylie admiring the flowers too!
Honestly, can they be any cuter?

They look ADORABLE, Kristi. Caleb looks SO sharp in his outfit. It's too bad Ian missed the evening, but I'm glad you went and had a fun time AND took such great pictures. SWEET!!
I'm so sorry Ian got sick!! But you're children are so beautiful! My son just said..."Mom, boys aren't beautiful." So let me rephrase. Kylie looked beautiful and Caleb looked so handsome!!! Where's the picture of you???
Oh my goodness they are geogous!!! Caleb looks so grown up in that first shot and I love his little man-jacket! Tell Kylie I love her red dress!

aww and my favorite part of the night was seeing kylie walk up to andy and in her sweet little innocent voice say "andy will you dance wif me?"

This looks so wonderful. They looked like they had a wonderful time and I'm sure you enjoyed watching them and capturing it all. Hope Ian gets better soon and tell everyone I said hello.

How in the world did Ian pick up food poisoning? None of the rest got it...did he eat something completely different?! Poor guy. I sure hope he is all better by now!
