You know it is a slow night when making brownies and watching them cool is considered entertainment...
Ky and I made (ate) the brownie batter while Ian and Caleb went to the corner grocery after some graham crackers ~ I had read a recipe for smores brownies and we wanted to try it...
Yes, they really all stood for about five minutes waiting for the brownies to cool. Kylie and Caleb were just so anxious to get a bite! It finally became so humorous to me that I grabbed the camera. That's one of the many things I LOVE about Ian, he's willing to act like a kid with them.Eventually we realized that they weren't fully cooked yet, so while the brownies went back in the oven, my three kids (two two year olds and a thirty something) found a new source of entertainment. Can you guess what they were doing?

Kylie and her summer clothes are cracking me up. I would be blue if I had that on--my heater is running at my feet as I type.
For some reason, that pan of brownies is reminding me of another pan of brownies and some ants marching across my stove.

Looks like maybe some jammy sledding is going on there? Looks like fun. It must be nice having your own little family world that you don't have to share with anyone. All of us here in Charlotte miss getting to see some of the siliness too.
