Just to document that it took approximately 150 shots on two cameras over an hour long photo shoot to get a few good pictures (see previous post), here are a few of my favorite out-takes...
So this isn't the best shot of my sister, but it's the only one I took of the "behind the scenes" look at our photo shoot. Adam stood on a bench for about 30 minutes holding a king size sheet while Mama and Ian behaved like monkeys to try and get two kiddos to smile. Traci was on anti-static hair duty and snapped away on a second camera while I tried to maintain my composure while still dreaming of that perfect shot...
"Yeah, that's it Kay-ub! This face will really make Mommy crazy!"
Then Caleb started saying, "Go ni ni!" and so they did a little fake sleeping for me.
And finally, my favorite, can't you just hear Kylie saying, "Who me? What did I do?"
I never did capture that ever elusive perfect shot, but do make sure to check out our Happy Year of the Ox post (previous post) to see some of the better ones!

This is priceless!! I just love it..
Gung Hay Fat Choy!!!
I love seeing this "side" of the pictures! I can only imagine 2 kids -- getting one good picture w/ one chld is hard enough!! They are so sweet in their outfits!
I love it - it reminds me of our Christmas photos. ( and I am not brave enough to try that again, ha!)
Happy Chinese New Year!
I think I like this post more than the last!!!!
Tanks for keeping it real!
Um, I need a close-up cropped out of that funny face photo...and I need it NOW! That is HILARIOUS!
And the last one's just funny...I'm sorry, Caleb...someday you'll find it funny, too.
Their personalities just shine in ALL the pictures, and they are so obviously happy and loved!
oh my gosh! hilarious!
LOVE it!!!
I love that top one! I thought it was them practicing for the Opening Ceremonies or an interpretive dance! I'm not even breaking out the dresses today. I would need way more coffee to attempt another photo shoot on my own. ;-) Happy New Year!!
I think you should have used the funny faces. Really, thanks for including us on the mailing list. I love the card and now I have your new address! :-)
