Sigh...

Maybe this "going to bed like a big girl" thing isn't working out as well as we thought! Here's what I saw when I was on my way to bed...

Suggestions? Cause I feel like a HORRIBLE parent!

No horrible parent award.... just keep taking her back to her bed and eventually it will pass. :-) We are on to this adventure after Christmas as we are giving the crib away and getting a big girl mattress! We think we'll have to have the bed made as some of the frames I looked at with drawers were selling for a whopping $1000! Sheesh! Jadyn loves seeing your life in pictures although we still have to make the distinction between "that's me!" and Kylie! Ha!

OH please, you are in NO WAY a terrible or horrible parent. Sometimes I find, especially, the youngest on the floor, we generally just cover them and go to bed. One time I asked Eden why she was on the floor, she said," I was really hot so I slept down there."
No big deal! She will learn, you'll see most of it just comes with age and time!

LOL! SO not a bad parent!! Just scoop her up and put her to bed - she probably won't even remember it. We have some great photos of Matt when he was about Kylie's age sleeping in the dog bed and on the steps.
This will pass - trust me!!

She was still in her room, right? The point is, she was asleep and she didn't need you to go to sleep. You're doing a fabulous job!

Oh hang in there. As I have mentioned Hudson usually goes to bed great but maybe once a week he starts this very, very sad cry, the one where they are catching their breath. It is those times I just hold him until he goes to sleep. I think she is doing great and so are you!!

She stayed in her room, was not upset - that is a "win-win" situation. Remember that I used to find Traci asleep under the plantation field desk, on top of the washer and dryer, etc. If Kylie feels comfortable on the floor - that is fine. Don't look at this as a set-back.

That is the most pathetically adorable picture ever! Bless her little heart!

Oh Kristi -
It's a step in the right direction ... she stayed in her room! :) And although you'd prefer she be in her bed she did go to sleep all by herself! :) Hang in there she will get it. And the dessert ... ya we will be making those, yum!

The important thing is Kylie getting sleep and it looks like she's sleeping well:-)

Nope! Malia refused to sleep in her big girl bed for two weeks. Instead she slept on a comforter on the floor.

She looks awfully cute!

Sue has slept on the floor at least 9 out of every 10 nights for the last year. She begs to sleep on the floor. She loves it - who am I to argue? At least she doesn't fall out of the bed in the middle of the night! Cute picture!
