16 hours in our house

Kylie is becoming the chopstick master...

Enjoying noodles and Daddy's "picy" chicken for our "Referralaversary" meal last night. Her kid's chicken was too bland ~ we had to wipe it around in Daddy's Orange Peel sauce from his beef dish.

Guess who slept in their big boy bed all night for the first time...
Sunday night he was up SCREAMING from 4:20 until 5:30 am. We tried many tactics and finally decided that he was going to his bed (he'd been sleeping in the pack 'n play in our room). We didn't hear a peep from him the rest of Sunday night and last night he went to bed in his big boy bed on his own. He got up at 2:30 and I heard little pitter patter footsteps in the hall, but he went right back to sleep when I tucked him back in!

And the battle of children vs. fruit wages in our home...
Vegetables seem to have nothing to fear (except for red and yellow bell peppers ~ Kylie will eat them sliced like they are candy!) but if you are a banana or an orange, you may want to avoid our house! The score this morning is in favor of my fruit eating machines! So far the casualties include three bananas and SIX clementines in addition to about 30 Frosted Mini-Wheats and some American cheese ~ and it is only about 10:30...

to funny!! Arden also LOVES bell peppers no matter the color. She will pick a salad over chicken nuggets and fries everytime.
Happy referral to you and your family.

Nothing wrong with some good fruit! Could be candy they were addicted to.

I am so proud of Caleb sleeping in his big boy bed!
Good job Kylie. Chopsticks aren't easy to use.

Sniff...already in a big boy bed?

You know Caroline is still in her crib, right? We're going through an "I don't want to go to bed" stage, and it's ugly at times, so I'm stalling as long as it keeps her in her bed. But the bed awaits...eventually, I'll have to give in.

Caleb sleeping in his bed is great news! Should be much easier for you.

and did I mention that I don't even know how to use chopsticks...of course I never ate food that required chopsticks until I was in my 30s. WAY TO GO KYLIE!!!
