Woo-hoo!!! The bags have been packed, weighed, unpacked, rearranged, and zipped for the last time! Well, almost the last, there are still our toiletries...
I just have to say that my duffel weighs in at a mere 13.2 lbs, only 1.2 lbs over Ian's! Wow, I guess I've been married to the "supreme under packing king" for a long time now! (Of course we both have an extra hard case bag that weigh in at about 25 lbs each, but they have all the extra stuff that makes packing for China for two weeks a logistical nightmare ~ medicines of every kind, extra food supplies in case Kylie gets picky, gifts for the folks that have taken care of Caleb for the first two years of his life, formula, toys, books for the kids, ect...)
Now that the packing is done, I'm so ready to go! Please keep Ian in prayer as he scrambles to complete his project. He told me this morning that the only way he can explain his energy right now is the grace of God from prayers!
Kylie and I had a good morning. We walked to the park and played for about an hour and did puzzles and ate lunch when we got back. She's still napping and when she gets up we're headed to Lottie's house to play for a little while!
**This picture was taken on the last day of summer as we closed mom's pool, but it worked...

WOW! Your trip is soooo close! I am mega-impressed that you are already packed. Mark and I were still weighing suitcases, and taking out items, at 1 am the night before we flew out. I am a "work to the deadline" kinda gal, though!
You are amazing!! I'm about half there;-)
That is so awesome! I'm completely impressed!
We will keep you in our prayers, and a special prayer for Caleb as he gets to know his new mommy and daddy. Kylie, you are going to be a great big sister. Safe travels, we'll be following your trip.
Whew! I'm so proud of your organization skills. Pulling off a move from Charlotte (with house in Charlotte still furnished); getting house in Raleigh set-up; getting ready to receive your precious son into your lives. WooHoo! Can't wait to meet him and let him get to know his Dahma Shultz. Will be praying for travel mercies and trusting that God has prepared Caleb's heart for the love that will enfold him next Monday. Know Ian's project will be complete exactly in God's timing. Keep trusting!
Love, LaoLao

Seriously, you MUST stop bragging...hee.
I didn't even SLEEP the night before we left for China...I am exhausted just thinking about the packing.
How is it I'm going to miss you when we don't even live in the same state??
Love ya!
