I'm emotionally (from the week of goodbyes) and physically (from finishing packing up) spent. Headed for our last sleep as residents of Charlotte...
(Surreal to have written those words!)
On the positive side, today when Kylie asked Ian why he was putting stuff in a box, he answered, "Remember our new house? We are going to ride there tomorrow in that big truck with all of our stuff and we will live there instead of here from now on." Again, I'm not sure what I was expecting her to do or say as I eavesdropped on their conversation, but I was somewhat stunned when she started jumping up and down hollering, "yay, Yay, YAY!"
