16 hours to takeoff...

Wow! I have had to pinch myself several times today to fully grasp that we begin our journey to Caleb tomorrow morning!!! My heart swells with joy to think that this final weekend we have as a family of three will be spent allowing Kylie to see her homeland with her own two eyes! And then early on Monday ~ while our friends and family sleep here in the states ~ we will suddenly become a family of four. I can't wait!

Kylie was so excited about Caleb that we had to test out the double with Lottie last night.
Thanks again Tricia for this wonderful gift!

This morning Kylie was super snugly when she woke up, so we laid beside each other on her trundle bed and talked for a while. I have to thank God for that leisurely morning snuggle as it will be our last "relaxed" morning as just the two of us. When she began to wake up and become really chatty I asked her if she knew where we were going tomorrow. She thought for a second and then happily answered, "pe-kool?" (preschool ~ what a shout out to Ms. Jeanna, she really misses her teacher!). I said, "No sweetie, tomorrow we are going somewhere on an airplane." Then she got a huge grin and said, "We goin' to Tih-na, tomorrow? To get my Tae-eb? Yay, Yay, YAY!!!" and then she started jumping up and down. (Caleb, Mommy is that excited too!)

By the way, do you think that I've had enough on my plate recently? Obviously my defenses are down because here's Kylie eating her breakfast this morning. This kid can put down some bagel and cream cheese!

You are in the air now traveling to get your son, my precious grandson. I promise to keep good care of Maya while you are gone.
Will pray continually for you.

I know God is ahead of you and has a wonderful time for the four of you. Will be anxiously awaiting your arrival home on the Nov. 7th.

The double stroller will be so nice. Can imagine that Kylie will want to ride everywhere with Caleb.

Cream cheese and bagels on the kitchen counter looks fine to me! haha

Can't wait to start seeing the first pictures of Kylie's reaction to "her" China and of Caleb when you get him next Monday.

God be with you, LaoLao
