Not much extremely exciting or out of the ordinary has happened over the past several days. With that in mind, I offer a few bits of reality from "Kylie's World"
Wednesday night we went out for ribs for our "family night." We ordered Kylie a 1/3 rack (from the children's menu) and she cleaned them up! Her appetite is quite amazing if you're serving meat or fruit...
Thursday was a rough napping day. I'm not sure what the problem was, but obviously nap time ended too early!
Friday we had lunch with Susannah (known as "Szhu Szhu" to Kylie) at Chick-fil-A and then went to Target to buy baby stroller number THREE. Kylie and I had a talk before I opened it to explain that Kylie can not sit in it. I tried to make her understand that this will be the last one we buy so she needs to be careful not to break it! So far so good ~ only Elmo and baby have taken rides...
After we got home Kylie pulled me into my closet and pointed at a pair of my shoes that she has developed an affection for. She loves to walk around in heels these days ~ and is actually quite good at the skill! I think she'd wear them all day long if I let her!
Saturday we spent the day with Beth, Tim, Anah and Sera. Kylie had a blast with our God-daughters and made it about five minutes in the car before sacking out on the way home...
Sunday Kylie experienced two treats. LaoLao let her help make ~ and apparently sample ~ chocolate lava cakes for our dessert and later Aunt Traci let Kylie play in Grandma's makeup while she curled Kylie's hair. We may have a future Miss America on our hands...
As potty awareness continues (today Kylie alerted me every time she had to go pee pee and therefore wore the same diaper all day) Kylie decided that baby must use diapers too. This morning she picked baby up, sniffed her, said "Pee-u-wee!," and signaled that baby needed a diaper. So she "changed" baby even though the diaper is a wee bit big...
Later in the day we watched an Elmo video that I picked up at a consignment store last week. Elmo goes around asking kids to sing their favorite song and Kylie LOVES it. She tries to sing along and it is so cute. I guess she pays more attention to the praise team at church than I thought because when I started singing along with her she ran over to her box of blocks, grabbed two of the round pillar blocks and gave me one. I was sorta confused until she held hers up like a microphone and started singing her little heart out. And of course I joined right in...
And a few random pictures that I missed back in December...
**When we got home from BJ's and put the rug down she danced on it and then laid down on her stomach to rub her face on it while giggling "sost" (soft). Her excited reaction made the $30 purchase so worth it!

It's so funny how our lives are so similar! The stroller - sleeping in the high-chair. Anne Marie LOVES to change the baby's diaper. (Same baby doll) She tells me she needs to go potty -- but AFTER she's gone -- we're still working on it. I swear the girls must call each other @ night after we sleep!!
Great pics! Darby has the same doll and also insists that baby have a real diaper and changes it regularly. And if we aren't watching closely, the "dirty" diaper is put in the trash:-)
Our girls are growing sooooo fast!
We have that same baby, too, and, like Darby, Caroline will pitch the "dirty" diapers in the trash! She also likes to diaper her Little People...quite hilarious to see Eddie or Sonya Lee engulfed in a size 4!
High heels, baking or "licking the spatula", make-up, microphone singing, being a MaMa by changing her baby dolls diaper, telecommunicator (glasses, head phone) - Wow, she is really well rounded! haha What fun to watch her change minute by minute!
Really like the new rug in her bedroom. Can just see her laying down and rubbing her little check on it and saying "soff".

Oh I so love all the photos. What a cutie.
Malia has been all talk about the potty ... boy does she talk it up ... does she go in it?!?! No! Good job Kylie!
Oh how fun. I hate the brown eyeshadow and blush didn't show up so well! Kylie did a great job she was starting a new trend with streeks and blothces!
