meeting a medalist

It's not every day you get to meet one of your greatest role models...who just happens to be an Olympic gold medalist in your sport of choice!  

That would be her, "I can't believe I'm really standing beside Missy Franklin" face.

Missy Franklin gave a fantastic swim clinic to Kylie's club this morning, signed autographs and then spoke at the awards banquet. I think our fishy was inspired once again to strive for excellence, both in and out of the pool.

Swimming has done amazing things for this girl's self confidence!

Most of the group Ky swims with several nights a week.

Who knows how long swimming will be part of her life, but for now we're along for the ride!
