of growth spurts and fickle weather

Dear M family boy teachers,

Please overlook the fact that my boys are in OBVIOUS need of new winter coats as about two inches of arms are exposed due to their coats being too small. Both boys hit a ridiculous growth spurt this winter and since we were wearing shorts last week, I put off buying new coats thinking we were done with sub-freezing temps.  

Thanks a lot Mother Nature for putting me in the running for Mom Fail of the Year.

Oh, and yes. The girls have hit similar growth spurts. But Natalie is wearing Darcy's coat, DQ is wearing Kylie's and Kylie? She's wearing my new (this season) down coat. 

Again. My babies aren't babies anymore...
