I'm gonna admit that I was quite skeptical about the forecast for a heavy snowfall.
What a fun surprise!
As NC snowfalls go, this one was pretty epic...even if it started raining and therefore melting our snow far too soon!
You know it's a good packing snow when you can create six foot tall snowmen!
It was so beautiful even our snowshy bunnies made an appearance.
Normally we'd still be in our pajamas at this early hour on a snow day, but we knew it wasn't going to last long.
So we rolled snowmen, created igloo style snow forts, tossed a few snowballs and walked in a beautiful winter wonderland while it lasted.
