I'm entering the point of the wait that I'm frequently distracted and finding it hard to be fully present. My body is here on US soil, but my mind and a piece of my heart are far east, constantly with my little one. His health during this cold season and his safety are always on my mind. And there's the fact that his next birthday is rapidly approaching and I'm realizing we won't be together to celebrate this year.
I'm so, SO thankful for a heart sister who understands the tension of wanting to be in two continents and chose to show her solidarity with an amazingly thoughtful gift.
I'm here in NC, but thanks to my sweet friend, I wear the coordinates of his city...
