The better part of our day was spent at Duke Eye Center for a follow up surgery for the firecracker. We pray this procedure will alleviate the crazy high pressure in her right eye that causes both optic nerve damage and a constant dull ache.

And you know you've spent a lot of time with your pediatric glaucoma specialist when she hugs you after good news following surgery. Glad our physician loves my girl (girls actually...she adores DQ too)! Left eye is just fine, laser procedure went well on right...now we just wait for the eye to heal to see if it works.
