appointments and snow day milk

...sigh...
With all our medical appointments, it was bound to happen one day.  
Showed up at Duke Children's to see the orthodontist from the craniofacial team. Problem was our consult was scheduled at his office five miles away.  
Yes, I had the paperwork stating such.
And yes, I felt like a COMPLETE idiot.
...sigh...

Background information ~ it's snowing in NC...land of one snowplow per major city and where bread and milk fly off grocery shelves at the mere threat of snow.

Ian (calling as he leaves the office) "Need me to pick anything up on the way home?"
Me "Well, we are totally out of milk."
Ian "Do you hate me? I said I was sorry for giving you a hard time about the appointment mix up..."
