When a child joins your family at nearly four years of age,
it is inevitable that you will have missed a whole lot of 'firsts' with them.
And for that reason,
on a day when they figure out something new,
you stop what you are doing and RUN for the camera.
Because you never want to forget the smile of accomplishment as they show off a new skill...for the very first time.
I have a feeling we'll be spending many hours in the backyard in the days to come!
