Tradition is tradition...even if it is a few months late.
Not only did our trip to meet our youngest family member have Daniel celebrating his birthday back at New Day, but it also saw our big girls reach the half birthday milestone.
Believe it or not though, Krispy Kreme shops aren't a dime a dozen on the streets of Guangzhou, and so our half birthday girls missed their donut night.
Until a few weeks ago. Our sweet friend Melissa, whom my kids simply adore, was visiting for the evening and we figured her being with us was the perfect excuse to finally go celebrate.
And now we 'officially' have a 7 1/2 and a 6 1/2 year old in the house.
('cause you know ~ at least according to the youngest boy ~ that if there is no donut the half birthday doesn't count).
Sorry to make you wait so long girls!
