trick-or-treat

Just what would you do on Halloween night if you opened your door to this crew?

Would you feel compelled to empty your candy bowl into their buckets?

Yeah.

That's pretty much how folks who answered their doors seemed to feel.

House...

...after house...

...after house...

...after house.

All seven of the C & M kids were adorable, but it very well could have been the awesomeness that was our two headed dragon that kept people scooping out handfuls of candy at a time.

These two.  Friends as long as they have memories.  Miss D was the dreamer behind the costume idea.

Kylie and her daddy were the implementers behind the design.

(Yeah, I have a rare breed of husband.  Technical engineer by day, creative genius by night.  I cut a bit of the fabric after they sketched it, but the creation was all those two.)

It was an awesome night in the C family neighborhood.  We shared a quick meal together, with the adults in the kitchen and the kids camped out picnic style in the living room watching It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.  There were copious amounts of candy collected.  Seriously, I'm still amazed at how much of a haul these seven took in.

And the grumpy care bear?  No worries, she wasn't overwhelmed in her trick-or-treating experience.  She was just cross that we took her lolipop away for the photo shoot.

Promise of the return of her sucker and a few tickles from Daddy brought those smiles right back!

Sounds like a really fun evening. D and K made a great two-headed dragon. Great job making the costume K and I. I would have given the 7 of them my bucket of candy!
