Who needs four wheels?

Not my DQ.

As of this weekend, she's one self taught two wheel rider.

Yes I said self taught.

While her daddy was shoveling mulch and I was running a yard sale, she got on her brother's bike (hers still has two extra wheels) and piddled around.  And around and around.  Until finally we heard a call, "Hey Mommy and Daddy, watch this!"

It's possible that she may have been a little proud of herself.  Course I guess I would have been too.  There was never a, "Daddy will you hold the bike for me?"  It was all her ~ bravery, perseverance, and determination rolled into one.

Watch out world, here comes my DQ!

Cause when she puts her mind to it, there's not much she can't do.

WooHoo, Darcy. Grandma is so proud of you. I can't wait to see you in person. We'll go to the "roundy" road.

And I was just thinking at lunch how grown up she is. Isn't it amazing watching kids grow up? Sad...but awesome at the same time!

Awesome! I love to see a kid who is self-taught. She's a tough one. :)

You are a winner, Darcy - way to go!! I'm so proud of you, figuring out that two-wheeler all on your own. Now that's a real champion. You are awesome.
Love, Grandma M

That's awesome! I love how we sweat over teaching our oldest things and then the younger ones just pick it up, no big deal. :)
