twenty-nine days in

One other nugget of good news came to brighten my spirits late last week.  We finally learned that we did indeed have a LID.  And when the news came, it was already "old news" so we were already well on our way to LOA.  Our official date is 2/21/2011 ~ exactly one year after Darcy's adoption day.  Today makes 29 days into the count.  (not that I'm counting of course).

We're praying that the number of days until LOA won't be much more than thirty...
And of course that we'll have a record fast LOA to TA time.  (I know it isn't likely, but a girl can dream). 

It's time to bring this baby home!

**and now back to the flurry of housekeeping/laundry/dinner prep that I can finish before synchronized napping for five ends!**

LID: Log In Date ~ the day a dossier is officially entered into the system at the adoption affairs office overseas
LOA: Letter of Acceptance (sometimes also known as LSC or Letter Seeking Confirmation) ~ the letter sent by the adoption affairs office after your dossier has been reviewed AND they have officially approved you to adopt said child
TA: Travel Authorization ~ official invitation to travel to come meet your child.
