We're done!

With diapers and pull-ups that is.  (Well, for the next few months anyway...)

But I can't let our victory over potty training go without sharing a story.

Our littlest had been 'daytime trained' since we met her.  Of course those of you who have been there know that night-time is frequently a totally different story.  Not too long ago we ran out of girl pull-ups.  And wee one asked me to buy her some more.  BUT we still had a small stash of diapers, so I decided to go through the rest of the Blue's Clues first.  She wasn't thrilled with my decision.

Then we ran out of Blue's Clues and she requested some girl pull-ups.  Being the thrifty mommy that I am, I opted to use up the last of her brother's pull-up stash.  There were some Diego, some monster trucks, and some Cars.  She expressed serious dis-satisfaction in my choice, but still, it was only at night...

She'd have one or two dry nights followed by not dry ones.  Our deal with her was five dry nights and she'd get to wear underwear to bed ~ like her brother and sister.  Because if you know my girl, she believes that anything her brother and sister can do, she can do better...

Eventually we ran out of the stash and I had to purchase a pack of girl pull ups for her.  Thinking that we'd be using them for a while, I went ahead and bought the biggest package they had at the grocery.

Wouldn't you know that she had to use exactly five of them?  Little imp!

look carefully.  can you see the impishness?

Anyone need the rest of a package of Food Lion brand pink Clifford pull-ups?
(Cause I've learned my lesson and Daniel will have BOY pull ups if he needs them...)

Joining Melissa with the jealous feelings. Just bought a huge thing of diapers yesterday with NO thoughts of not finishing it up! Ha! CONGRATS to Darcy! That really is exciting!

Ok -- so I've been like you - using diapers becuase nights are still not dry in our house & they are cheaper -- maybe I need to get pull ups (she's been asking) to see if that works!!
